I’ve been told that have a passion for art! This passion started while I was at school as an interest in still life and wildlife drawing and has continued all through my life so far. To be able to pick up a pencil and paper and draw is therapeutic, no matter what the results, I believe that this is a benefit that all of us can enjoy.
Painting4fun came about because I believe in the positive benefits of drawing and painting. As I got older, I decided to give up some time to try and help others discover the magic.

Friendly tuition, wihtin a small group, of like minded people is an ideal atmosphere in which to develop your own skills.
For those who are a little shy and unsure, perhaps lacking confidence in their ability I also offer one to one classes, by arrangement, in this technique. Classes cost £45 per person per day and I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves before you leave with your completed 20" x 16" canvas.

These friendly, relaxed, one day step by step painting courses will help you to produce a completed 20" x 16" canvas to take home and amaze your friends and family.
Please note that Village Halls and Community Centres must be booked well in advance and therefore the booking fee of £20 per person, which guarantees your place, is non refundable.

FAQ
I cant paint! or I wish I could paint like that !
These are the most common comments that I hear while demonstrating the Bob Ross technique. The easy answer would be "I'm sure you can. Why not give it a go?". But to be honest this is in fact the only answer.
The straight forward, step by step teaching, allows everybody, whatever their abilities, to produce a piece of art, on a 20" x 16" canvass, that they can be proud of. Many people that paint with me haven't picked up an art paintbrush since they left school.
If you paint along with me, in one day, you will not belive what you can achieve.
So come on and take a chance. "Let's have some fun painting.!"
THE SMALL PRINT
Classes run from 10:00 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon. 1 hour lunch break with coffee or tea provided.
