Joel is an actor, director and educator with a background in Jewish and spiritual community work. His Jewish theatre company, Merkavah, was founded in 2007 and specialises in promenade and walkabout installations.

He is currently completing an MA in Applied Drama at Goldsmiths, and delivers freelance education and theatre projects both within and beyond the Jewish community.
