Hugo helps Russell and Pete develop the "science" that powers schoolofeverything. He likes simplicity and hates it when sites make him think too much.

When not at work, he likes playing guitar in his bedroom and considers himself
a bit of a foodie. He is half-Icelandic and although he grew up in England, he likes to play on his Viking heritage when it suits him.

Languages are another interest, but with only 1.78 of them under his belt, he is struggling to get over his resentment towards Russell.

He likes reading over people's blogs, but doesn't bother with one himself.
